Chiropractic Assistants

The Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association offers a course, once each year usually in the fall, to assist CA’s in obtaining a Limited Radiographer License.  Each participant must take an examination offered by the American Chiropractic Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ACRRT).   Each applicant for a license to practice as a Limited radiographer must: 
  1. Pass the Examination for the Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography given by ACRRT;
  2. Achieve a passing score of 70% or above on the Core section of the exam; and
  3. Achieve a passing score of 65% or above on each of the following sections of the exam for which licensure is sought: 
    1. Chest
    2. Extremities
    3. Skull and Sinus
    4. Spine
A license as a Limited Radiographer will be valid for a period of 2 years.  The license will be renewable every 2 years pursuant to 180 NAC 16-008.   Twenty four hours of continuing education must be earned within 24 months of the date of license expiration. For additional information, contact Jan at the NCPA office 402-435-4087.
